Hairpin Vocaal

Started in the summer of 2024, Hairpin Vocaal is a female vocal ensemble project based in Eindhoven, directed by Anna Lusty.

In ‘mixtape’, you will hear music of international female composers and arrangers, from Eva Ugalde’s ‘Miserere’ reflecting on the victims of war, to Ogalvsky’s ‘What happens when a woman’ for female ensemble and body percussion.  Our ensemble is created by local, experienced singers in a variety of top choirs in the region and further afield, including Brabantkoor and StrijpS kamerkoor. We are excited to share our debut performance and invite you to join us for an eclectic programme.
